Everything we offer is built around one question: what does this particular child still need, so that they walk into an exam room or an interview prepared, steady, and not pretending to be someone else?

ISEB & entrance exams

Who it is for

Years 4–6 (ages 8–11), and Year 7–8 pupils sitting 13+ papers.

What we do

Structured preparation for the ISEB Common Pre-Test and school-specific 11+/13+ papers: English comprehension and composition, maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning. We begin with a diagnostic, then build a term-by-term plan with regular timed practice and detailed feedback.

Format

Small-group classes or 1-to-1, online or in Oxford.

Interviews & assessment days

Who it is for

Pupils with interviews or assessment days at UK prep and senior schools.

What we do

We do not teach scripts. Children practise three things: talking naturally about what they actually enjoy; thinking aloud through a problem they have never seen; and getting a group task done with people they met ten minutes ago. Sessions follow the real formats, and the feedback is specific without being discouraging.

Format

Short intensive blocks (typically 4–6 sessions) in the weeks before the assessment.

Small-group classes

Who it is for

Children who learn better alongside peers, with discussion and a regular rhythm.

What we do

Four to six pupils per class, grouped by level rather than age. There is a published syllabus, homework, a written report every term, and a conversation with parents.

Format

Weekly, term-time, online (evenings UK / weekend mornings for Asia) or in Oxford.

One-to-one tuition

Who it is for

Children who need a personalised plan, catch-up, or a specific stretch.

What we do

An individual diagnostic and a programme of your own. Many families run it alongside a small-group class, to shore up one weakness or push one strength further.

Format

Flexible scheduling; the minimum booking is half a term.

Writing programme

Who it is for

Any child whose ideas outrun their ability to get them on the page — or vice versa.

What we do

A course of its own, on structure, argument, vocabulary and style — from creative composition at 11+ to essays at 13+ and beyond. Pupils build a portfolio and learn to redraft properly.

Format

Available as a small-group course, or folded into one-to-one tuition.

We add a new course only when we can teach it to the same standard. Two are planned: scholarship preparation, and a summer bridging course for families moving to the UK.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us about your child, the school they are at now and the schools you have in mind. We will suggest a realistic plan — and say so plainly if we are not the right fit.
