Who we are

Oxford Chai Education is a tutoring practice based in Oxford, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. Contact: hello@oxchai.com.

What we collect on this website

Only what you send us through the enquiry form or by email: your name, contact details, your child’s year group and location, and the message you write. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Site analytics are privacy-preserving and aggregated (Cloudflare Web Analytics).

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange a consultation and — if you enrol — to deliver our teaching services. Our lawful basis is your consent for the enquiry, and contract for enrolled families.

Children’s data

This website is intended for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. Pupil records for enrolled families are held in a separate, private system, not on this website.

Case studies

Case studies are anonymised by default. Any identifiable detail — names, photographs, schools, results — is published only with written parental consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are deleted 12 months after our last contact unless you enrol. Enrolled families’ records are kept for the duration of the service and for the period required by UK tax and accounting law.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare and our email is provided by a business email provider; both process data on our behalf under contract.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@oxchai.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
